The Obama administration will reveal U.S. intelligence later Tuesday outlining what information has been gathered on the Malaysia Airlines jet that was shot down in Ukraine. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the intelligence community would present additional data later in the day, but did not provide any more details. White House’s deputy national security adviser of strategic communications Ben Rhodes told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Tuesday he expected the information will confirm suspicions that it was an SA-11 missile originating from a Russian separatist-controlled area that downed the plane. "There's going to be further declassification. The intelligence community is working through the information it has," he said.

The U.S. welcomed news that most of the remains of the 298 killed have been handed over to authorities, Earnest said, and is encouraged that black boxes have been given to Dutch and Malaysian authorities. But the administration still hopes to see more cooperation from Russia and pro-Russian separatists, who have not given international investigators full access to the crash site.
