Crews Burn Forests to Stop Spread of California's King Fire

Crews set backfires along Highway 50 in Fresh Pond, California Tuesday night to stop the King Fire from spreading.

Crews set backfires along Highway 50 in Fresh Pond, California Tuesday night to stop the King Fire from spreading. According to Cal Fire, the wildfire east of Pollock Pines in El Dorado County has now scorched more than 12,780 acres and is only five percent contained.
