Netflix binging just got a heck of a lot easier.

The streaming service announced today it's adding offline viewing for smartphones and tablets, allowing subscribers to download select programs and watch them on the go without an internet connection.

Not everything is initially available for download, however. Just look for the download button in the details section for your favorite programs to save them on your device.

“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their ‘Stranger Things’ binge while on airplanes and other places where internet is expensive or limited,” Eddy Wu, Netflix’s director of product innovation, wrote in a blog post announcing the new feature.

The news was lauded on Twitter, where some people called it the best thing to happen in 2016.

So there you have it. Now you really have no excuse for not being up to speed on 'The Crown.'
