Like Fred Savage in "The Wizard," competitors will soon face each other in a Nintendo battle royal. The company announced on Wednesday that the Nintendo World Championships will reappear at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. The last time Nintendo did this was in 1990, the year after "The Wizard" debuted in theaters. Back then, kids from around the country competed in Super Mario Bros., Rad Racer and Tetris. It's not clear which games they will play this year, but Nintendo did release a video of Reggie Fils-Aimé, president of its North American operations, cheating at "Track & Field."

The competition starts on May 30 at Best Buy locations across the country, with the winners meeting on June 16 at E3, hopefully after learning a valuable lesson about family and how to use the Power Glove.
