If you've recently picked up a shiny new MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, you may have noticed that your new laptop may suffer from some crazy CPU power consumption issues, and perhaps occasional USB connectivity problems.
Though the issues are not necessarily universal, they're significant enough that Apple has issued a software fix.
You can find the relevant update on Apple's official support site. It's labeled as the "MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Update 1.0" and is "recommended for all Mac notebooks introduced since June 2012."
There aren't too many details regarding the actual problems being fixed, nor is it known exactly how common it was.
