Get ready for a barrage of swords, bullets and one-liners. Marvel's mouthy anti-hero Deadpool is getting his very own video game.
The "Deadpool" game was revealed over the weekend at the annual Comic-Con convention in San Diego — by none other than Deadpool himself (or at least by someone dressed up as the mentally unstable assassin.)
Needless to say, the real Deadpool is exceedingly pleased at the news.
"The greatest game in the history of games is coming — mine!" he said via Twitter.
The game will be developed by High Moon Studios, the company bringing us "Transformers: Fall of Cybertron" next month, and published by Activision. It is due to launch sometime next year.
You can follow the game's progress (and read all about Deadpool's love of chimichangas) at the official website right here.
As you can see from the teaser trailer below, "Deadpool" promises to be one bloody funny affair.
