The latest update for Google+ on Android arrived on Halloween, and it gives plussers practically a brand new mobile experience, with better abilities to pinpoint who see posts (down to the friend, beyond circles), a new design and buffed up location-based features.
The smartphone G+ feels more streamlined than it was before, with a filter in its streams that allows users to see other plussers nearby. Google calls it a "completely new app" with a new design that seems to amplify all the advantages of the desktop version. In fact, the fit seems better on the small screen than on the desktop, where it sometimes looks too unwieldy.
