The old-school arcade experience of Pac-Man and the mind-bending world modification of Portal seem a strange match for a mashup-type game, but that didn't stop a Russian indie developer from creating just that.

The resulting game by Dj_smart, predictably called PacMan Portal, is more or less what you expect, but it's always interesting to see how Portal's now-classic gameplay element affects the way you think about everyone's favorite dot-eater.

Everything's in Russian, but the game is easy to figure out. Head right to start (the arrow keys move you around), and then do the usual Pac-Man thing. In a tight spot? Use the mouse to place portals; the left mouse button for blue, right mouse button for orange. You can see through them to time your exit properly, and it doesn't appear that the ghosts can follow you.

Unfortunately, this retro treat is for Windows users only. Go here to download it — click the link with the disk icon that reads "Скачать" and it should start downloading right away.
