Motorola's Droid Bionic — the company's "Ironman" of Androids — will be available Sept. 8 from Verizon Wireless. It's the carrier's first 4G phone with a powerful dual-core processor.
Although Verizon's high-speed LTE 4G network has not yet rolled out across the whole nation, it already has 4G phones from LG, Samsung and HTC, as well as other 4G devices.
The Bionic, with a 4.3-inch screen, runs on the Android operating system, and was first unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. The Bionic is expected to have these features:
There's no definite word on pricing yet, but it's likely the phone will go for $299 with a two-year contract.
