According to information uncovered by a blog, Sprint intends to offer $25 to $100 discounts on new devices to customers it believes are "at a high risk of leaving Sprint."
The folks at SprintFeed, a website which focuses on — you've guessed it, Sprint-related topics — were the first ones to catch wind of this upcoming offer. They explain that, beginning on Feb. 5, Sprint will be reaching out to customers via email and good ol' snail mail to tell them about the deal.
The gist of things is that the carrier will offer discounts of $25, $50, or $100 — on a case-by-case basis, naturally — to customers who are eligible for an upgrade, but considered to be at high risk of leaving Sprint and finding a new carrier.
In return, the customer will have to sign a new two-year service agreement with Sprint, of course. We have reached out to Sprint for additional information regarding this offer.
