The LG G-Slate is T-Mobile's shiny new 4G tablet and its price tag has finally been revealed: $529 after a $100 mail-in-rebate (which you receive assuming you sign up for a two-year service agreement).
But what do you get for your money?
You get an 8.9-inch 4G tablet with a dual-core processor, dual cameras, and 3-D capabilities. The device is quite speedy and has a crisp, bright display on which you can play back the 3-D movies you've recorded. (Do keep in mind that you'll need to bring some 3-D glasses for that!)
Let's be honest though: The 3-D features are a bit gimmicky and we doubt that you'd genuinely take them into consideration when deciding to purchase a tablet. What you should focus on is the fact that this is one of the first tablets to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb and that — based on what we've seen while using it — it's a reasonably solid device and speedy as can be.
