Coming soon: Easy emailing of tweets

Twitter
The newTwitter

Usually, sharing an interesting item found on Twitter is as easy as hitting the "retweet" button. But if you'd like to send it to someone not on Twitter, a new feature is rolling out that will let you email a tweet quickly and easily.

You could do this already, of course, by simply copying and pasting the URL of the tweet in question, but whether you're too busy to take these extra steps or aren't quite sure how to do it properly, the new method should be a better option.

The new "Email Tweet" button will appear right next to the existing actions (reply, retweet, etc.) underneath a pulldown "More" menu — which implies that other methods of sharing will soon join it.

Although it was announced Thursday, the feature doesn't appear to be live yet. The blog post describing the feature says it will be "rolling out to everyone over the coming weeks," so keep a close eye on your feeds.
