Gaming for four to five days straight without properly hydrating yourself isn't good for your body, and 15-year-old Tyler Rigsby from Columbus, Ohio found out the hard way, according to a report from local station WCMH on Aug. 7. Tyler had embarked on an extended run playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" — he apparently lost count of the exact number of days — emerging only for snacks and the occasional shower. When he finally left his house to visit his aunt, he collapsed with severe dehydration and was rushed to a hospital.
As you can see in the video, the paramedics were called, and had to supply Tyler with IV fluids. Tyler is now home and doing just fine, but he's down one Xbox. Tyler's mom says since the episode she has taken away his beloved console.
