What happens when two epic franchises collide? Pigs die in droves at the hands (wings?) of birds wielding lightsabers, blasters and the Force, that's what.
"Angry Birds Star Wars" — the franchise mashup to end all franchise mashups — launches Nov. 8 on nearly all mobile platforms in the known universe. And on Monday the developers at Rovio released a trailer showing off how the game play will look.
As you can see below, the birds in the game will swing lightsabers, fire blasters, and wield the power of the Force to pig-crushing ends. But will they be able to take out the Deathpig that seems to be looming in the depths of space?
