Check out the video above for a look at how Microsoft plans to bring its Windows Phone 7 devices and Kinect motion controls together.
Microsoft showed off the video at the Mobile World Congress taking place in Spain this week. Though they didn't release any further details, the phone/Kinect connectivity looks pretty dang cool. It appears players will be able to use their phone as a kind of controller for Kinect games — such as the "Kinect Adventures" Ralley Ball game being played here. Even more interesting, it appears more than one phone will be able to connect with a Kinect game at one time, making for some interesting multiplayer action.
But it's worth noting that the above video is only a "tech demo" so it'll probably be a while before this kind of cross-platform gaming is any kind of consumer-grade reality. Still, it looks like fun and I'm certainly interested to see how it plays out.
