Meet the Press | March 18, 2012
>> before you go --
>> covered a lot of territory.
>> this is your 64th appearance on this program. i was joking. you have been on this show more than i have over the years, and we have some of the pictures of you over the years where you have come here and you talked about politics and national security , and you have done it on this platform, which we appreciate very much. i wonder as you reflect and you think about, you have run for president and been in the senate a long time and served in the house, how do you think you have evolved in your public life ? what is most important to you now?
>> well, without getting into cycle session, i hope that i have become more informed and i hope i have become more tolerant and have become a person more respectful of the views of others, and especially on issues such as this, what we were just talking about, about life and death . i have been frankly privileged to be on this program as many times as i have because it's my opportunity to talk to the american people and i am grateful.
