Lesbian service member discusses fight for equal benefits
Six months after the repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy, gay and lesbian service members are fighting for equal benefits. Maj. Shannon McLaughlin, of the Massachusetts National Guard, and her spouse talk to msnbc's Thomas Roberts about their legal battle to obtain the same benefits as heterosexual military families.
