Obama: I was one of first leaders to say ‘Assad has to go’

President Obama says he feels the situation in Syria has “deteriorated” seriously. He says “we are constantly consulting with the opposition” and is encouraged to see the Syrian opposition “may have more cohesion than they’ve had in the past.”
