Widow of Ariz. Firefighter: We’re not being treated fairly

Juliann Aschraft, the widow of one of 19 Granite Mountain Hot Shot firefighters who died battling the Yarnell Hill blaze, maintains she will fight for her late husband’s benefits after the city of Prescott, Ariz., denied her family full-time compensation. “It’s sad that I have to stand here and even fight for what my husband already earned,” she said at a news conference on the steps of the Yavapai County courthouse.
