Matthew Shepard: From the Archives

Matthew Shepard, a gay student at the University of Wyoming, was savagely beaten, tied to a fence and left to die October 7, 1998. It was a shocking crime that motivated congress to pass a federal hate-crime law. NBC's Tom Brokaw and Roger O'Neill report.
