Obama picks Gen. Shinseki for Cabinet post
Dec. 6: In an exclusive interview with NBC’s Tom Brokaw, President-elect Barack Obama says he’s asked retired Army Gen. Eric Shinseki – who fell out of favor with the Bush administration over the Iraq war – to head up of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. NBC’s Ron Allen reports.
