Big Three thrown a three-month lifeline

Dec. 19: President George W. Bush announced a $17.4 billion auto bailout designed to keep GM and Chrysler afloat through March, at which time President-elect Barack Obama will assess whether the companies should reorganize in bankruptcy. CNBC's Phil LeBeau reports.
