Blagojevich appoints Roland Burris to Senate

Dec. 30: Embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich today appointed former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris to fill President-elect Barack Obama's Senate seat. State officials and Senate Democrats have said the governor's action is not acceptable. NBC's Lee Cowan reports.
