Proposed burka ban unveils tensions in France
July 16: President Nicholas Sarkozy of France recently called for a ban on the burka worn by some Muslim women, declaring it an unwelcome "sign of enslavement" in staunchly secular France. NBC's Dawna Friesen reports.
