BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: Well, it's not a wrecking ball , really, but a claw, and for a lot of us a sad day in Jersey . The old Giants stadium is starting to come down. Bruce Springsteen played the last event there, wrote a song as an enduring anthem to the old place. The old stadium, second largest arena in the NFL , was home to 1600 events over 34 years, hosting over 70 million visitors. It played host to the pope, the Boss, Bono , the Beach Boys . They're going to pave paradise and put up a parking lot . You see the new stadium stands at the ready right nextdoor.
