>> just didn't rise. but in the end, the flame got hit, but that was an indoor arena , and as we've come to know, olympics have to have an outdoor cauldron and here it is. the flame was driven across town in an open truck, accompanied by the great one, wayne gretzky , who came down here to cheering crowds. and we were actually at this location outdoors when the great one got here, this place erupted with cheers and flash bulbs went off. and then he lit what will be the five-pointed outdoor official olympic cauldron for these games. this is the waterfront. over on this side is the international broadcast center, home to all of us in this business. and then on down the waterfront you have apartments and boat slips. all part of this beautiful city in the pacific northwest . we wanted to leave
