Jupiter puts on celestial spectacle

Star gazers are being treated to a cosmic show as Jupiter makes its closest pass in a generation to planet Earth. NBC's Brian Williams reports.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: It was a stunning sight last night, the first time the skies over the United States looked that way since 1951 by our reckoning. That's because Jupiter was a bright light right overhead, its closest pass to us in a generation. It will remain bright and prominent for the rest of this month so don't worry. And with binoculars you can see Uranus right behind it. Things won't be this way in the skies again
