Medal of Honor hero Vernon Baker buried at Arlington

Sept. 24: Vernon Baker, a black veteran who belatedly received the Medal of Honor for his role in World War II, was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery Friday. NBC's Brian Williams reports.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: An American hero was laid to rest today with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery . Vernon Baker was a recipient of the Medal of Honor . He joined the Army when it was still segregated and served in the first all-black unit to enter combat in World War II . He died back on July 13th
