BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: A record breaker today in LA , not just for today's high temperature but the all-time temperature, period. At a few minutes after noon today, it had already climbed to 113 degrees in downtown Los Angeles . That would make it the hottest day ever recorded in Los Angeles since they started keeping records.
