BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor (Washington, DC): And here in Washington tonight a big change very close to the president. White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel will announce tomorrow that he's leaving his job to go home and run for mayor of Chicago , hoping to replace the retiring incumbent Richard Daley . Replacing Emanuel will be Washington veteran Pete Rouse , currently a senior Obama adviser and Capitol Hill veteran, whose introverted style could not be more different from the volatile and famously profane Emanuel , who he's replacing at least temporarily.
