Unrest escalates in Middle East

A bomb explosion killed one person in Jerusalem on Wednesday and left at least two dozen more injured; at least six people were killed in a massacre at a mosque in Syria; and protests in Yemen reached a fever pitch. NBC's Brian Williams reports.

>>> of course the violence, the unrest not limited to libya tonight. throughout portions in the middle east it's been a bloody 24 hours . in jerusalem there was a bomb explosion at a crowded bus stop near the main bus station at rush hour. one person was killed, at least two dozen more injured. worst attack in jerusalem in four years. it breaks a period of peacefulness. in syria there's been a massacre at a mosque. at least six protesters taking refuge inside were killed in a raid by syrian authorities.

>>> and protests continue in yemen, where the president is under intense pressure to leave office, where he has moved up the date he's willing to go, abandoned by many of his top military leaders, he's dug in, taking emergency powers on to put down the uprisings for now.
