Page program ends in the House

After 200 years, the page program in the House of Representatives is ending. Both party leaders in the House have decided it’s no longer cost-effective. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: Word from Washington tonight that after 200 years the page program in the House of Representatives is ending. Both party leaders in the House have decided it's not cost-effective anymore. In the electronic age they're just not needed to relay messages as they once were. The Senate page program will continue.
