Study: 13% pretend to use phones

If you have ever pretended to use your cellphone to avoid an awkward interaction, you are not alone. A study released Monday by the Pew Foundation found that 13 percent of cellphone owners pretend to be on their phones to avoid interacting with people. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.
