New Jersey, New York declared state of emergency

This far north on the eastern shore, residents aren't used to hurricanes. The last major hurricane here was Floyd in 1999, which caused 43 million dollars in damage. NBC’s Michelle Franzen reports from Asbury Park, N.J.
