Hurricane Irene ‘just massive’

With a unique perspective on Hurricane Irene, Dr. Kathryn Sullivan, a professional hurricane hunter. Earlier, Dr. Kathryn Sullivan, Deputy Administrator of NOAA, left McDill Air Force Base in Tampa aboard NOAA's P-3 hurricane hunter aircraft, flying directly into the eye of Hurricane Irene. The crew is collecting data inside the storm to determine the latest intensity and provide data for the computer forecast models. Dr. Sullivan spoke to us by satellite phone.
