1985 Bears visit White House

More than two decades after winning the 1986 Super Bowl, the Chicago Bears finally made their victory trip to the White House. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: the Bears of old are a little grayer and fatter and balder and creakier, but when the president is a Bears fan from Chicago and he invites the Super Bowl champ '85 Bears to the White House , why that's a command performance. You see, they never got their White House ceremony back then because the space shuttle Challenger blew up and it was canceled.
