BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: of those actors you just know, you know him instantly from his work in hundreds of roles. Charles Napier was one of those actors who are the working class backbone of Hollywood . The square-jawed Army veteran, former teacher from Kentucky , was the angry country music band leader in "The Blues Brother," the prison guard who gets eaten in " The Silence of the Lambs ," and the judge in the great film " Philadelphia ." Charles Napier was 75 years old.
