6 inches of snow in Denver, just after 80-degree day

Denver got a cold and wet surprise Wednesday when snow fell down in the metro area. Some areas received a foot of snow, and this was after the city set a record high of 80 degrees just two days before.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: Kind of hope they were dreaming of a white Halloween in Denver . A foot of snow on the ground in some spots in Colorado . Overnight low in some places is going down to 15. The snow is so heavy, so wet, it brought down power lines. Hundred thousand people in the cold without power tonight. By the way, two days ago Denver set a record high for the day, 80 degrees.
