WILLIAMS: Ah, the late, great Dinah Shore helping us tell you Chevrolet turned a hundred years old today. And while not what it once was, it's still an iconic brand name. It's the only make of car mentioned in 700 separate songs. And while it admittedly rhymes easier than Kia or Hyundai , there is something about that brand. For a century now, over 200 million Americans have been driving their Chevys to levies and seeing the USA in their Chevrolets . They invented the SUV and the Corvette , and Chevy lived long enough to see the electric Volt . They are now half of GM sales and two-thirds of their sales are overseas.
