Thousands still without power in Conn.

Eleven thousand homes are still without power in Connecticut, ten days after a late October snowstorm caused widespread electric outages. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: That sound you may hear tonight is anger from the normally reserved people in the state of Connecticut . Tonight 11,000 homes are still without power. It's been 10 days, mind you, since it was knocked out in that freak pre- Halloween snowstorm. And the folks who just went through this and Hurricane Irene , because trees fall down on wires, are raging at Connecticut Light Power , which is promising that by tomorrow night -- that would be day 11 -- power will be restored.
