Lee Pockriss, ‘Itsy Bitsy’ composer, dies

Songwriter Lee Pockriss, who composed such songs as “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” died at 87. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

We also have him to thank for the classic " Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini ," and " Catch a Falling Star ," the Perry Como classic. Lee Pockriss was born in Brooklyn . He served in the Pacific in World War II . He also wrote for Broadway and for " Sesame Street ."
