Christmas arrives in Washington

At the White House, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas: A 19-foot balsam fir is delivered, met by the first daughters and the first dog. NBC News’ Brian Williams reports.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: At the White House tonight, it's finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas . The first daughters and the first dog came out to welcome the Clydesdale -driven cart that today delivered the official White House Christmas tree . This year's is a 19 footer, a Balsam fir from Wisconsin . It'll take up residents in the Blue Room as the centerpiece of the White House Christmas decorations.
