Rough weather in unlikely places

Cities in the South are under winter weather advisories while northern cities are enjoying record high temperatures. NBC’s Brian Williams has more.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: If you're watching us tonight from the South all the way up north into the Appalachians , then you know there is rough weather out there. Rain for right now in most places, like a water pump up from the South to the North . But then it becomes snow in some unlikely places. A predicted three to five in Tupelo , snow in Memphis and Asheville and Nashville . Then over the next 48 hours, on up to Indianapolis , Columbus . How about six to 10 inches in part of Michigan .
