Sergeant at Arms Livingwood retiring

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: We learned this week that the man who says this every year is retiring.

Mr. BILL LIVINGOOD: Mr. Speaker, the president of the United States !

WILLIAMS: That's our friend Bill Livingood , the House sergeant at arms . Seventeen years on the job, 33 years with the Secret Service before that, and five seconds of air time every year. A popular figure on Capitol Hill with the very big job of keeping everyone there safe.
