Bernie Fine can’t be prosecuted
New York law enforcement officials said former Syracuse University basketball coach Bernie Fine cannot be prosecuted on child abuse charges because the statute of limitations to bring those charges ran out. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: And in upstate New York tonight, law enforcement officials said former Syracuse University assistant men's basketball coach Bernie Fine cannot be prosecuted on child abuse accusations because the statute of limitations to bring those charges out ran out long ago. Fine was accused by two former ball boys of molestation that allegedly took place back in the 1990s .
