Obama ‘truly conflicted’ over Rice

According to NBC’s Chuck Todd, aides told President Obama that nominating and confirming Susan Rice for the secretary of state position would have come at a cost. Instead, the president is focusing on the "fiscal cliff" and met with House Speaker John Boehner Thursday in an effort to jump start talks that have stalled out.
