Profiler: Gunman may have had ‘combatant or superhero’ fantasy
According to former FBI profiler and NBC News analyst Cliff Van Zandt, the gunman’s outfit suggested he imagined a role for himself that bordered on that of a combatant. Police say the gunman killed his mother – and because matricide is such a taboo in every society, Van Zandt says the killer was capable of doing just about anything.
