Teen shot hours after sister attended Obama’s speech
The sister of one of the students who attended President Obama’s speech on gun violence Friday was shot and killed while walking with a group of friends. Police say the gunfire was meant for someone else in the group. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

>>> one more note about the president and awful gun violence that has shaken chicago. in a state of the union address , you may recall, he spoke about the murder of a teenage girl a mile from his chicago home. just this past friday, he spoke movingly about the gun violence that plagues part of that city. behind him, a group of students from hyde park academy, one of those students was 14-year-old destiny warren, just hours after she appeared at that event, her own sister, 18, was killed in a hail of gunfire as she walked with a group of friends. police say the shots were meant for someone else.
