Fauci: Baby 'cured' of HIV 'is a single case and needs to be validated’

Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases explains that in the case of the baby who may have been cured of HIV, the HIV virus is likely now absent, however, “we don’t know that for sure and that’s the reason why this child needs to be followed quite carefully.”
