New toll-collecting system at Golden Gate Bridge

It’s the end of an era for toll collectors who said their goodbyes this week as the iconic bridge switched over to electronic transponders that track what motorists pay. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

>>> officials in the bay area are worried about the cost of good intentions. they have removed the toll takers from the golden gate bridge . that's a big change for daily drivers. they have had to stop for human toll takers at those booths for 76 years. problem now under the new system is people are gunning it and some have been caught doing 60 or more going through that area.
